Are the exhaust springs a weak point? Should I carry spares on a trip? I've had other bikes where the springs would break prematurely, it seemed.
I checked my bike and there are no external exhaust springs to worry about. My bike has a stock header and FMF muffler. I believe you have a Leo Vince system, never heard of that as a problem. On the 610 Leo system the way it is bent will melt boots in an ankle contact area.
Oh, right. Didn't think of that. I'll check the boot clearance. Haven't ridden yet. Still doing the 600 mile service, plus tires.
