Was installing the seat on my 2016 Husky TE300 I overtightened it. When I went to remove the bolt, it just spins as the threaded insert seems to be stripped, and just spins. Anyone have this happen? Please help

Try lifting up on the seat while trying to put tension on the rivnut and with a cordless drill in reverse try to bump the bolt out ... why they did away with the Dzus fastener like on the old bikes is beyond me

Spin the crap out of it with an impact until the plastic around the insert heats up and melts, then pull the bolt and insert out. JBweld the insert back into the seat pan. Not sure how successful that will be, but I did it with a shroud bolt insert on the gas tank on a KX one time, and that worked out great.:excuseme:

This happened to a friend of mine, told him to hacksaw it off.
    He hasn't done anything yet.
I'm waiting to hear what works

...do this. I've done it a few times and it works well. The secret is to get the plastic hot enough to be pliable and gently pull out the bolt (and captive nut). Ensure you use anti-seize on the new bolt and don't overtighten or use loctite.

    Ok, thank you.
I will pass on the info.
Is there a certain replacement nut to buy?

You should be able to undo the Nut easily from the bolt once it’s removed from the plastic. You can reuse the nut when you JB Weld it back in place.
