I rewrapped the lighting coil on my sons KDX. He purchased the after market twin head lights which weren't bright. I counted the coil wire turns we took off and using a thinner diameter wire I applied more turns. The head lights are brighter now. I never did a stator but it can't be much different just match the wire diameter and the turns.
