  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

SMR510 Exhaust Change

Husqvarna
A Class
Hello,

Just a quick post I have an SMR510 love the bike, but hated the exhausts. Looked high and low for some, found out I couldnt get hold of a Leo set anywhere, refused to pay over £1000 for the Arrow silencers, didnt leave alot of options until I found these below............ Waited for a few weeks for them to arrive from Italy fitted them and went out for a ride. I normally change my exhausts from standard to aftermarket with all the bikes I have owned, This is the first time I have changed pipes and noticed 1 hell of a difference :) absolutely the best choice I have ever made.

They are made by Fresco. Kit included 2 silencers, link pipes, hangers and springs total cost including shipping to the UK was €580 which I was very happy about.

Do they do off road pipes? i couldn't see the information on there site?

Also do you have the remapped ECU like you get with the Arrow pipes?

Yes I believe they do just send them an email with what you want and they will give you the price. Once the pipes are fitted they said no remapping is needed just needs to be set to the powerup settings. ie: no lamda sensor etc.

emailed them last night. thats a much more realistic price than the arrows and leo vince exhausts :) are they titanium or stainless? also i see an option were you can have them round oval or conicle? what are these ones?

Mine are Oval and made of something called Inox, with Carbon Fibre end caps. I did look at the round one's but they just didnt look right after I played around with photoshop. So went for the oval :) You can have them in titanium, inox or carbon fibre. on their site it lists the different combinations you can go with. Also they are alot lighter than the standard exhausts and also handmade :) I have a picture below of the fabrication jig
