    Hi
Bought an used USA wiring harness ('10 TE250) for my EU bike, still waiting to arrive.
PO installed TXC wiring (was cheaper), it only has 2 relays, need 1 extra or 3 new/used ?
From the photo taken of my bike I can read the relay reference code,

    CA1a-12V-A-5
    ACA12115 M13
    90311

Found on eBay 3 relays of a '09 TE250, the sellers says '09 and '10 are different bikes, but from the Spare Part List, both '09 and '10 have the same reference code 8000 A6749.
From the seller's photo I can read the relay reference code,

    (two relays)
    CA1a-12V-A-5
    ACA12115 M13
    80414

    (one relay)
    CA1a-12V-A-5
    ACA12115 M13
    80809

    So, my questions are ?
    - What is that third number (80414 & 80809) ? Batch code?
    - The spare parts reference code is only 1 for quantity of 3, I'm guessing all 3 relays are the same ? Do all three work the same on the bike ?
    - Will the '09 relays work on my '10 bike ?

    Thanks

a pretty standard auto relay; all 3 are the same
(Husky nomenclature: "DC" relay for extraneous stuff like lights; "power" relay for the FI stuff; and if you have a fan- the "fan" relay. your new harness might have these phrases printed on it or labeled)
    $4-5USD
numbers: batch dates or maybe date codes and assembly lines.
should work on any husky with the same pin-out (or car, boat, plane etc)

just make sure it has the rubber mounting strap on the back.

In this case, I just need to buy 1 since I have 2 on my bike.
I thought we couldn't mix the order of the relays, but when I read the spare part book, I was suspicious all 3 work the same.

By the other hand I might not need to buy anything. My bike doesn't have a fan, can't understand why since I live in a hot climate, in summer +40 degrees celcius is usual, although I never tried the bike since I bought last October.

I understand the 09 wiring was better quality than the 10's in terms of wrapping/insulation etc.

you know what? I got to thinking about my TE310R... and realized it only has 2 relays also (although there is a mounting bracket for a third). I confirmed this with the wiring schematic.

The fan runs off the DC relay but it has it's own fuse separate from everything else on that circuit (lights, horn, etc).

    sorry about the confusion

My electric schematic says 3 relays and one of them is for the fan that I might install ... dunno if my race ECU will ever turn it on.
Anyone who have race ECU and power kit installed have fan installed also ? Does it turns on ?

    (Trenchcoat85, answer my PM please).
