Interested in hearing more about that pipe. Does it wake the bike up at all, or just reduce the weight? And how much was it?

With the plug in it and pipe, make big difference. We sell the pipefor $375 and $69.95 for the heatshield.

$375 single slipon? Pics look like a full system. Any tuning required? Got any pics of the underside of the bike where the slipon (if it's even a slipon) connects to the rest of the system?

    $375 for a full exhaust sounds too-good-to-be-true.

I'm very interested in shaving weight off of my 630, especially if it means I don't have to shell out $1000+ for an exhaust system.

I too was interested in the pipe setup. I knew that FMF made slip-ons for the bike using the stock header which means still having two. Your only showing one so I'm guessing that you had to of replaced the header. Could you give us all more info on exactly how you did that and what the results were? Is it much louder?

It would be nice if someone made some decal backgrounds for the fenders, fork shrouds, and number plates...it would be nice to dress the bike up a little.

It looks like the pipe and mid pipe are all one unit, connecting to the stock headers. Very nice. Very nice price to! I am sure this pipe will sell like mad. Curious if the air box has been opened up any, yet? Liking this thread. [IMG]

The pipe is actually from another brand application very slightly modded to slip on,we did remove the "mazeplate " in back of the air box also. Then he removed the tail light crap and just put on the lic plate rubber mount we sell for $19.95.There is a limited number of these pipes available at this price so if anyone wants one should do it quickly.Next step TE511 wheels and more.

Can't wait to see it with black wheels. Maybe you can put together a wheel package for us TE630 owners like the setup below.

Is there a issue with the fatty Husky hubs? I am a big fan of the looks of the matching hubs on my 510 & 630. Top shelf imo.

Very interested in pipe, and what the slight modifications are. Do you lose the ability to put the stock system back on once installed?

You do have to cut the header pipe ,easily done.Is all you would need to just have the thing rewelded anywhere to put back stock. There is and never had any husqvarna hub problems, the new ones just save weight and look classy.

Is a tune required, or does it run fine without one?

Bill I'm not quite sure what your saying about the hubs...I think you have a few extra words in there. Please clarify what you mean about the hubs.

    Thanks

I think he's saying there are no known problems with the stock hubs (I don't have any problems with mine). The new ones are just cool looking and lighter.

This project is about saving weight, hence the lighter hubs, I guess.

I was answering XLenduroMANs ?about the hubs.Sorry for the confusion.Just the new ones are lighter ,shiny and black Excels ta boot. This bike is all about making it light and just trick. My son Adam got his first Gold medal at 14 on a 94 XR600r in the Trask 2 day {year before1995 bronzed at 13 on 93WXC250}[IMG] anyhow hes seeing if he can make Te630 as light or lighter than the Xr ,his riding style just works well these big dozers so this is all about fun.The TE has lots more power so we will see how fast it works in the woods,I just happen to have some Comp valves from 06 forks to put in the forks also.anyway thatys whats up for now.

How's the fuel delivery with that hacked on pipe? Are you using a Power Commander?

I'm on the hunt for the best bang for the buck pipe options. I want to drop weight without all the tuning headache, if possible.

As of now I'm stuck on the Arrow system w/ ECU by Husky. It's a bolt-on system and and the ECU is tuned for the bike and the exhaust so its just plug-n-play and the fact that it looks nice doesn't hurt. My dealer quoted me around $1000 out the door and thats what the leo-vince single full TI system cost and its not street legal. I also read that the power gain from the LV exhaust is mostly on top around 6800 rpm and I don't spend a whole lot of time up there. The Arrow exhaust w/ECU is claimed to add 7-8HP...not sure how accurate those numbers are or if they're crank numbers or rear wheel HP. Again looking at all the options we have thus far the Arrow system seems to be on top although it's certainly not lighter than doing a single can. Its worth it for me to be able to go back to stock anytime I want with very little effort.
