The money is to keep up the payments on the server, until it can be transferred to our ownership. With Dean gone now, there is no way to generate money through the server or website software. There is a charge, every single month to keep the server running, and keep the website running. When we get legal ownership of the server, we can get in and attend to the business side of running the site, such as contributing membership, sponsors and advertisers, also software updates, which have not been done in over ten years. The forum could also use a facelift, and a fresh look and better navigation. If we ended up with a different server, we might lose the present site.
Thanks to everybody who has contributed so far. We just bought 6 more months of running time on the server with your donations.
