Heres my '08 TE 610. Pre-running Baja 1000. La Rumarosa, Baja, Mexico October 2008. Trailhead is 32 32'57.84"N 116 01'32.05"W
I know I’ve posted these two before but you know what?, I don’t care, I like them too much and I don’t have new ones at the moment… So here you go
Man, that is a beautiful looking bike. Love that color. Is that how it came from the factory? I'm wondering if I could get plastics in that color for the TE or if SM and TE are inter-changable ?
Thanks jerbear It’s only the stock factory dark gray wildebeest version(no extra charge…); when you clean it the afternoon sun makes it pop I think the SM/TE back, sides and tank plastics are the same, the difference is in the face mask and beak But you can probably find something to work with the front
Ooh! A 610 Forum!! Oh boy! 610 photos! Here are a few of my `07 SM610... When it was farily new and hadn't gotten thrashed in the dirt yet... On its way to getting thrashed... More thrashage in progress... Post-thrash... Nevada snow... WoodsChick
2008 w/ luggage Here's a shot of my 2008 on a recent ride (http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1391). No, I don't need all those bags for a day trip! I was just trying to see how she handled moderately loaded. Aside from making hard to swing a leg over the rear fender I didn't even notice the difference! Howard L. Snell
Here's a better shot. I had the X-2 HID low beam on during the ride and the guys in front of me were saying that they thought there was a Train behind them.
Boy, you aint’ whistling Dixie I tell you…. what with all them ancient KLR’s around it’s like beauty and the beasts… (nice britannia faring on the red one in the front thou)
Thanks. If you liked the sail boat, go back to bottom of page 1 and check out the edit photo I just added! Thanks again
