My 82 430WR. Doesn't need much. Rebuilt ohlins, all engine bearings done, forks done. Nice bike IMG_0670.JPG

Pics always make them look nicer than they are. This one isn't too bad but it's not a show queen either. The tank has a couple dents and scratches and the seat cover has a couple rips. The rims were welded at the joints where they are put together. But overall it's a complete bike and not a lot of back yard repairs.

The shocks are piggy back ohlins. Previous owner had them rebuilt with new shaft's.

I was surprised to find the 430WR engine in the collection of basket cases I picked up. I was told I was getting parts for 2 82 250WRs and a 86 400WR. It took about 6 months to figure out what was what and what it went to. I got a title for 1 of the 250WR frames and another title for a frame that was destroyed prior to my acquisition.

We never know what were getting. Some of the sellers aren't sure what they have. I pop purchased a $39 420 cylinder he called it a 250. A complete 430wr engine/tranny they called a 250. I counted the 9 fins on the cylinders. I believe the 250's have 7 fins. Extra parts is extra parts.
