Hi there, I’ve got a potentially silly question that I can’t find a solid answer too. I have a 2017 TX300. My ‘local’ online parts shop only has parts for a 2017 TE300. I’m doing the top end. Will the TE300 piston (Wossner WO8301DA), small end bearing and gasket kit be identical / suitable for the TX300?

First time doing a top end. New bike.

I read on this forum that a B piston is probably the piston to go for after 100+ hours. My engine has 80. Cylinder and piston in very good condition (I only opened it up as I was having WOT seizes at heavy load)

I assume sprockets are the same fitment.

    Photo for thanks...

    1) mike the cylinder before changing piston sizes.
    2) check the OEM parts fiche to see what P/Ns crossover.

Legend thanks - hadn't crossed my mind to find a parts fiche online. What a dream - too easy!

Appreciate all of your posts on here about the TX too!

So yes the piston is the same. You can go to AOMC or Rocky mountain and cross reference the parts through their interactive schematic. Yes go to piston B, there is no need to measure. Your cylinder is like new (as mine was). I am on my 2nd B piston, bike runs amazing and I still have cross hatching on my cylinder. I have 170 hours on bike total and have many more to go.
