• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

At last! its racing season again in the Pacific NW and #1 GP 50 Expert, 310R mounted Mark Johnson started off right where he left off last fall...in front. Well he didnt start in front, but he did finish there on GP day. The BMP/Watson Suspension 310R (nor Mark) has never been known for instant starting so Mark rounded the first turn mid pack and proceeded to pick off everyone but 1st over the first loop......and then ran down Chuck Worley on his KTM450. Chuck faltered and Mark cruised to an easy win. XC day wasnt quite as strong, but Mark battled with Jim Tully the #1 XC guy all day with a few lead swaps... in the end Jim came in first with Mark right behind.

Troffer showed up with the shiny new white 250 dinger and broke it in, Sedore, Foley and Paul S all put in solid rides and a new mystery Husky rider showed up on a white TE300.....

Updates on the rest of the NW Husky crew when I have results and pics.

Nice! When will your crew be representing the new white huskys?

"Chuck Worley" Thats not woodchuck is it? Short fast dude from Seattle area? He used to ride Honda? Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong Chuck.

Way to go guys Thanks again for your great effort.

The wind drag would slow him down and imbalance him and then he would fall over. Happens to old people all the time....
I talk all this crap about people having helmet cameras to document the races for us but I forgot my new helmet cam. First race of the season and the morning of I was doing maintenance and forgot to grab it lol. Next time I won't procrastinate lol
