Has ANYONE come up with a practical way to change the plug on the 310? I mean, JEEZE! My last little adventure took damn near 2hrs! Seat off, Lift tank, remove right side shroud, find a thin wall socket, noodle the plug out. I was ready for a straight jacket and medicinal doses of Crown Royal. I did skip the straight jacket however. Other than that, I love the bike. Hasn't left me desolate in the woods..................shouldn't have said that.

I have the 2014 txc 310 im not sure if they are much different , but i usually takes plastics off , lean the tank to the side ,fish my socket in to loosen the plug then i fish it out with tweezers with grips on the ends.

    it is a PITA.

To make you feel worse, the small tank 2010 TE/TXC250 have plenty of room under the tank and yu dont have to remove anything.

You can always get an iridium plug and change it every 3 years.

Well.......I shall commence to self medicate and start spinning T-handles, pre-bandage the knuckles, polish up on my NAVY lingo, and fire up the juke box. Thin Lizzy would be a good starting point..................or Sammy Hagar.

Although I may be a day late and a dollar short on this discovery, but the Motion Pro WC 4 Stroke plug socket deal is, well, the real deal! The answer to my cussings. It doesn't make it 2 stroke easy, but damned sure helps. Can't believe it took so long for me to discover this groovy little widget! And now the moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligned with Mars.......Later Peeps.
