  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

New TC250 Price (Lowest I've seen)

That is getting close to a purchase without my wife noticing... She might notice if I vanish for 2 days to drive to Pennsylvania.

I wish the tc449s werent such porkers id buy one. 5k is a good price on a 450 mx bike new. I just cant see riding a 260lb bike on the track.

Unless you ride the pro class I bet you would do really well on it. Very nice bikes.

I think alot of what people (mags) cry about on the tc449 like long stable slow handling, smooth deliberate no hit motor, heavy flywheel feeling, and little down on power all leads to a great 450 for outdoor mx. It wont wear you out, it will find traction, and will help you stay smooth and consistent,

Being heavy is its only real negative. I need to try to catch a ride on one.

FYI - 2013 CR125 with 144 kit incl. for $3799 as well.

by the way
I'm not trying to advertise for this shop - I actually had a bad experience with them in the past. I'm simply trying to get more Husky's out on the track/trail for almost half the price of a new 4 stroke.

I went there last Friday to buy it.it was a 2012 tc
250.after my two hour drive I get there and they
Tell me they sold it.so I was pissed and let loose
On the guy and got him to sell me a 2013 for 4000.
Very happy with the purchase.rode it once and love it.

I dont mean this to sound harsh, but unless you gave them a credit card deposit on the phone - I dont think they were int he wrong to sell it. Someone walked in with money and bought it. They would be stupid to say "A guy is probably on the way here that may buy it."

I have sold a ton of bikes over the years and I can not tell you how many "I am on my way" calls I got...you would think that they will realize that in 4 hours I guessed they were NOT on the way.

Glad it worked out for you, however. That sounds like a great deal on the 2013!
