    Hey Folks,

    I am in the process of reassembling a 2007 TE250 and the Idle Trasponder broke and it is on backorder from KTM austria for 6 weeks. What is the function of this piece? Can the bike run without it? If not, can it be bypassed?

    On a bike with a carb?

    Never heard of it.

    Is it in the Stator assembly?

    Something that tells the ECU that the bike is running to turn on the headlight?
