Been very bored lately and decided to make some moulds and do some structural as well as skin some parts on my 610 TE as well as my 450Te and 510 Te. Did them while i was doing the new cam chain that was still in spec but the top cam bearing started to get noisy 30,000 km on the bike and all is still good
Clutch cover --structural and a rear brake fluid protector skinned.

Stator cover --Structal Carbon fibre with a Hybrid Kevlar Carbon weave on the inside

Did the front and back exhaust shields as well --will post a pic of the tail exhaust later --you can also just see a glimpse of the radiator shrouds i did as well

Yea!!! Are you the one I remember talking about doing some of this a few months ago??

That does look great! You should start selling your art!!! I'd love some CF bling on my bike, including the front fender support, shrouds, and maybe a few others!

    Very, very well done, great!!

so you are both covering original pieces with carbon layer and made structural parts...do you make negative replies for structural made carbon parts? and, if yes, which material do you use for these replies?

thanks for your posts and pictures,

    Looks Decent!

I am part of a formula student team, we currently use this engine for our car, so very interested for weight reasons!

Interested in how you made the Stator cover and the Clutch cover. How did you work out how many layers you would need to put the same torque through the bolts to hold these parts on as you would with the original parts?

Also with the Clutch cover how did you attach the carbon fibre Clutch cover to the aluminium cover behind it?

    Cheers

The reason I started was my Eddy Seel with all the Carbon bits it came stock from the factory with :)

Hey, Blazes – I'm reviving this old thread to ask if you have any of these carbon bits for sale? I'm new here, and stumbled on your carbon fiber work on another thread. I'm very active over on ADV Rider (same username), just in case you wanted to confirm I'm a real person. Cheers!

Hi Blucare. I have stopped making them as i am now going into retirement. Also sold my one one 610 TE and in the process of selling my other one with all my Husky spares i have in stock. Still have the mold's in my workshop and could maybe be persuaded to make a set. However stopped making the Carbon bash plates to time consuming.
    Regard's. Michael
