    Looking at purchasing a 501, to use for dual sport and some camping/traveling.
    Can the subframe handle the weight?

    Looks like you posted this awhile ago; but ya, in my opinion you’ll be ok. I run Rovina side racks on nub’16, and have done a couple trips with 20l wolfman bags and another small dry bag on the seat. Did some rough roads, and rocky double track with no problems.
