I would be keen to try a 5.2 kg spring as well if any one has one they want to sell.

I'm fairly certain the OEM spring from my 2014 CR125 is a 5.0kg. I can verify after work today.
What part of the world do you live?

I used the 5.0 spring off of my 2013 WR125 (which I replaced with a 4.6) on my 2011 WR300. I had bought a 5.2 for the 300, but decided that it was too stiff for me.

Hi Dirtdame, how many kg are you? I am 68kg with no riding gear on. Did you change the fork springs as well?

I weigh 140 pounds...so about ten pounds less than you do. Then add 30 pounds for backpack and toolpack.....
Anyway, I ended up using a 5.0 on the shock and .40 springs in the front end.

Do you want to sell your 5.2kg spring if you still have it?

Probably the shipping charges would be way crazy. Bear in mind that the same spring is on late model Betas and any bike that came with a Sachs shock. So if you can find the right rate for one of those, you can use the same spring.

I will be paying for shipping anyway as everyone that stocks springs in NZ wants around $250nz, not an option for me. I can buy a new spring on eBay and have it shipped for less than that. I was hoping to help out a fellow husky owner at the same time and buy an unwanted spring off them. I am still keen to buy off you. I use a fright forwarding company so you will only have to ship it to Portland OR then I take care of it from there.

The spring on the Ohlins shock on the older (2003 ish) DE GASGAS bikes will also fit the Sachs shock. You might try the GasGas forum... most guys are heavier than the stock spring so there's lots of light springs floating around for sale.

$40 + postage sound fair? I am still using the stock fork spring right now, but I have some heavier springs to try and if the new springs are an improvements then I'll be willing to sell them.

If you buy other stuff from anyone else in the states have it shipped to me and I'll send one package to NZ and save you from multiple shipments.

    Sounds good PC,
As for the forks the wr250 runs the same springs stock as yyour 125. I will see if I can find some 4.0 fork springs out there
