Kickstart snapped off---310R

New thing my kickstart shaft snapped off. Is there a fix? Where is the best place to get a new KSS?

Yep, this an issue with the bikes; I'll spare you the details but both my 010 250 bikes kicked back and broke off the kicker in one place or another Rekluse owners beware;

Just purchase the kicker and shaft from Halls; Both my bikes have the newer stuff and have kicked back very hard with the fix and not broken;

About $100 bucks but the fix works

Such a cool looking bike you have there! I'm OK with those forks and the KYBs on some models are AOK also; These bikes out-turned all the ALUM framed bikes during their days that even the $ influenced magazines admitted that fact

The forks are KYB, I just like the italian theme. Marzocchi,Cagiva.....made in Italy and all.

The early 2010- 2011 bikes had shafts with a big Philips screw in them.

The later bikes had a smaller allen screw in them to add more meat to the shaft.

I see the later shafts still snapped anyway.

The price to pay for a lightweight motor I guess.

I've had both kinds since 2009 and never broke one and I kick start all the time. Gentle kicker I guess.
