Is 86 & 87 WR swingarms the same?

    My 87 250WR swingarm has a hair line crack, are 86 & 87 WR swingarms the same?

    No, they are not the same. Shock linkage is also different. Hope this helps

    87/88 swap...89 four stroke may work as well. as george said, i have tigged a few back up with more than a hairline cracks. still holding great
    if you are talking about the area around the swinger bearing, i have fixed a few of those. i weld all 4 sides. they all crack there when the bearings go dry. leave the bearing in when welding. i just "vee" it out real good
