    I want a 510 to replace my orange 525EXC,
    reasons for keeping KTM are
I have it, its paid for, set up just right (for me) street leagle, does everything I want, not wore out, I have spare wheels, plastic, seats....long list cause I've been on KTMs a LONG time

    reasons for TE510...
    It looks so damn good
not all my friends have one, but that would soon change

    I would like to find a really nice used one....cause I a cheap a$$
sights on a 08 450 slightly ridden...but haven't ridden a 450 so.....I don't know and its a long way from me and I could buy a new one for about what he wants....

I don't know squat about KTM's but sounds like you've already got the bike you "need". If it's to impress your friends I guess that's purely subjective. Just sounds like you're happy with what you have............... They sure aren't cheap.

    1. They turn better
    2. motor is nothing short of awesome
    3. EZer to work on
    4. Suspension is better and has more potensial (linkage)
    5. Best looking bike on the planet (not subjective, fact :D)
    6. We'll all respect you more

All current bikes are good. If your KTM is doing it for you there is not a lot of reasons to upgrade other than you can and you might get some advantages from it. KTM builds great bikes and are ligth but IMHO the husky offers a lot of great things as well and edges out the KTM in several areas that are important to me.

There must be a reason why your 02 CR is listed first in your signatures.

    You say why? It's a husky and it's sexy.:D

it is one of my favorites ....my 300 is probably the best out of them all....but for a 7 year old bike that is suppose to be worth $1K at the most.....its a hell of a good bike.....if I ever get the rekluse pro in the Husky the hard pull of the clutch will be a non-issue, would like to find a 18" rear wheel to use a trials tire....then no need for the 300

    Come on 02(oops) SightedN2

Don't be rational about it. You neeeed it! Sell the 525 to lessen the hurt caused to your wallet. You won't need it after you bu the TE. Might even make you cooler:rolleyes:
