I could use some help, I am going to make the SM into a TE. I know this is not as easy but for what I paid for the SM new in the box I could not pass it up:)
Where is the best place to get a wheel set?
    Gearing for the TE?
Should I send the forks out to be reworked?

I am sure I will need more info as i go

    Thanks

All you need is a set of tires!

yes that is a nice bike, I would rather have a 21"F/18"R but that is also a option
    Thank you Dean

    Another question,
    1) What is the SM whees set worth with the new tires?
    2) I tried to install my barkbusters and the levers are interfering, do you need to mod the levers theay seem long anyway?
    Thank You

Is the rear swing arm and forks the same length? Otherwise you will have a bit of a problem. TE to SM is easyer than SM to TE unless you do as Woodschick does and run the 17" rims with meat tires. What did you pay for your SM?

The rear swing arm has the same part # SM/TE but the forks are different, The forks check out to be the same as my 07 TE250 at lease with the tape measure.

Someone is making a adapter for the front brake caliper I was told. I should have some more info next week

I've just cut off the end of the levers so that they clear the hand guards. The ball is on there as personal puncture protection, which you really don't need with the guards in place.
