• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

JASON ANDERSON EARNS TENTH OVERALL FOR ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA AT GLEN HELEN MXGP
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team made an appearance at the Glen Helen MXGP this weekend with Jason Anderson in the MXGP class. Anderson started the event strong on Saturday with a 4th in timed practice and a 4th in the qualifying race. Extreme triple digit heat plagued the riders on Sunday but Anderson tried his best to push through. After starting in the back, he navigated through the pack aboard his Husqvarna FC 450 to finish 4th in moto 1. He started toward the back again in the second moto, but charged through the crowd and made it up to fifth for the majority of the race. With Monster Energy Cup quickly approaching, and the heat not letting up, he decided to conserve energy in order to minimize possible injury and finished 27th. The 4-27 finish gave him a commendable 10th overall on the day.

A 4-27 finish gave Anderson 10th overall on the day.
“The GP at Glen Helen was definitely a nice change of pace from the normal SX and MX series I’m used to,” said Anderson. “It was a great learning experience. I had a couple long days and ended up with a decent first moto considering I came from behind. I came from behind again in the second moto and decided to conserve energy. I played it a little safe because I’m trying to get ready for Monster Cup, but it was a great day and I’m glad I got to experience it.“

Anderson will now spend all his energy prepping for the upcoming Monster Energy Cup in October.
