    We get to see lots of the Youth races out here. Most of those little guys on the 50s have 2 throttle positions, off,and wrapped around. I've been seeing more Husky minis in the pits these days.

    When my son raced a YZ 85 in the mini expert desert class . He would hold it wide open most of the time and to slow down he would just use the kill switch
    Never hurt the motor. Why it never seized is still hard to believe. It worked for him, he even beat me a few times Back then I was on a YZ450

    new husky not available where I live but picked up a Kawasaki KX65 for my son (moving up from a PW 80)

    still surprised how venomous that little 65 is, not so much low but when it hits mid and high rpm it has for sure punch.

    That's a far cry from my first bike a 1972 Yamaha Mini Enduro :eek:... This bike is just pure racing with out a doubt :cheers:

    I never had anything like that when I was a kid. A mini trail then a SL70 for me...but I loved them! Those little huskies are awesome. I got a brand new kx60 for my son in 2003. It's a rocket...it was barely ridden then he wanted a quad. I still have it in like new cond. if anyone is interested in making a serious offer.
