    • New fork protectors easier to replace and maintain

    My Opinion:
Not much has changed. Some key bullet points include "new headlight mask!" Oooh! Aaaah! There are some more significant changes, but what I'm not seeing is:

    custom husky only frame
    lower seat heights
    a 690 based DS

They're still rebadged KTMs with very little that's uniquely different.

About what I was expecting. A few modest changes, almost all of them are the same changes made to the 2015 KTM models. The new graphics are a step backwards I think. I much prefer the 2014 graphics to the 2015.

All good news IMO preserving and stabilizing the value of the earlier bikes.

I was thinking the same thing but my wife prefers the 2015's looks. They're both a step backwards from the Husaberg blue wheels though :)

Who knows, I'd wait for the US press release. You would think even just one would make it...

KTM needs to make as much money as they can while they have that market covered.... Then maybe some dual sports. Who knows. Maybe Husqvarna will be a loss leader (tax benefits possibly) for them. Keep it for the hype, the marketing, "The Heritage" bs and see what pops or flops.

Dual sport dirt bikes sell, there isn't any doubt there. I suppose the problem is they are more desirable than the regular models so they sit.

I got to say I was impressed with the stock 2014 TE 250 Hooskie I road at our clubs NASTY Netra HS course in Tuxedo Ridge, NY. Damn good stock suspension. My buddies w/2014 KTM XCs are hating the fork and they are seasoned A/AA riders. I have a mint 06 YZ250 in my shop I may buy and save about 6 grand. Buys alot of Coors and I know the fork works, big motor but I'll deal w/it. I'll buy a Huskie when I can plate it in NJ.

No big gun sight logo on the front fender... That has been on Husky since 85. I always liked it thought it looked cool.

It shows how little KTM knows or understands Husky.

RD5 had a 016 model ktm at the end of the sx season in the states ... He made a comment he was hoping the NEW bike would push him to the next level ... Husky 016 bikes can't be far behind ...

Myself, I never get too excited over new plastic or decals. I'll be riding my red Huskies :)

Good luck with the 015 bikes ...

Those "new" ones looks like Husabeg, at last time. When they also show new model line up......Ok some day it will better to buy Ktm, but i love my 2010 model :)

SP has some sales numbers to see now ... real, bottom line, $ sale numbers .... This will weight heavy on what the Husky bikes do in the future ...

    --
I've asked this question before and no answer given ...

When ktm failed way back in time, before the first buyout of them by whoever, I read their sales number of bike dropped ~30k bikes very quickly causing the failure of the company ... Does anyone remember what happened back then or is this is even true?

    Cristini? LOL

Before we all go too far with our comments, including me, I would like to point out that the new 2015 model news appears to be coming from Australia right? if I'm wrong I apologize. My point being, the Australian models already had street legal bikes this year so it's possible the North American market may see a plated model (Enduro) this fall. TBD I guess.
