Guess I'll toot my own horn, My Husqvarna TE310 carried me to a first at Steel Creek and a First at Big Buck In Golden Master A class. We used to be young once What a great race bike in a dual sport costume..
Congrats John47. I'll assume, by your words "used to be young once" your born in '47 making you what, 61. 47 ain't old in my books, no spring chicken but not old.
Toby Atkins 2nd OA in the morning race! He rides the Missouri HS Series and is super fast. He must have got one of the armed forces rides b/c he normally rides Yamaha.
good stuff from the Am ranks!!! just read the gncc site report, Kearny gambled on a no gas stop and took the lead,,,,but went dry bfore the end of the race, i guess now the crew will get a real good note of fuel tactics.
Hey Wetdog, good work born 4/7/47 so in 6hrs I'll be 62. Gota get ready for the Loretta Lynn GNCC. Track has a good flow, if it is dry. Does any one know what size bike TC was riding at Big Buck.
I didn't see all of them, but congratulations to everyone who did good. I just noticed the 250A win, which is the ranks a lot of the hot shots come from. John47, way to go. I'll keep a closer watch for your results from now on. Toby Atkins has been list on a Husky at the last few Mo. series races. I think he got a first or second overall in one recently.
Toby Atkins was the "factory rider for a day" for Husqvarna, stationed at Ft. Reily in MO and races the MHSC series www.mhscracing.com ......rides a YZ 250 local 5 valves.....yes I have my forts mixed up.....just drove by Reily on I70 Junction city....
He is at Ft Leanordwood Mo.. Ft riley is at Junction city KS. I think he has taken the overall at the first two races at MHSC. the first race steve Levean put on, the second he beat him. very fast guy. his race report is on his web site. you can get a kink at the hillbillygp site.
