Guys: Lame-O question. I am trying to figure out how to secure the rear end of a 74 250 Mag tank. I have a rubber strap with hooks on either end, but I can't make sense of how it goes. What do the hooks attach to? A picture would be awesome.

    Thanks Marc

Don't use it, go down to Home Depot and get some heavy-duty zip ties to secure from the rear tab. Also make sure you have the thick backbone frame rubber mounts so the tank doesn't touch anywhere otherwise it'll vibrate & split.

Good idea. I'll do that for racing. For reference though, how is it supposed to work?

    Thanks Marc

hook on frame.......hook on tank.......real simple.......in line with tank back bone. I use some black tape to secure the backbone rubbers to frame. Used a zip tie once and it almost rubbed through the tank........those zips are tough!
