Hi flow water pump

Looking to get the high flow water pump kit for my 08 SM510R. I had one on back order at Halls for about 3 weeks. They emailed me yesterday saying it's discontinued and the order will be cancelled. I tried KTM-parts.com and was told the same thing. Anyone know where I can still get one?

I just got the same call from Halls today as well, was going to post up and saw this thread first... I'm actually glad I didn't get the thing now anyways, sounds like it might not be worth the hassle.

You guys might also want to think about running a waterless coolant. There is no corrosion or build up using my coolant (XF) and it may even provide enough performance to make the oem impeller perform just as well as the aftermarket, if not better.

wasn’t aware the Hi-flow pump was aftermarket . looked to b a factory part to me.. so i take it Zip - Ty has no hi flow pump kits in stock for the 450 ’s ??

Too bad on that as those propellers because they really helped my bike 08 TXC250 ...

Get back with me later if you do not find one because I might have a propeller here ...Shipping will be $40 or so I bet back over to you ...

EDIT: This is just a guess, but what about a stock propeller off a newer bike? Maybe like a TC model or something that has a better stock propeller.

It looks like a 449 impeller, but not sure on the diameter.

I think the 449 one will work. If too large in diameter, it can be turned on a lathe.

My bad, sorry. Must of been made by an Italian aftermarket company, we lost of ton of those in the exchange. I can ask Ty about it tomorrow if he thinks we should make them.

Not sure, but in SMRR model has same that part. Maybe if can get hand that part. I would check that issuess (some day), but i would to be sure that there is no problem, whit that waterpump

Halls is looking into making the whole cover and impeller, if you are interested in one, give them call and let them know. talked to them last week. a bunch of pre order might just help . or perhaps Zip-ty will do one ??

Thanks, I will contact them. In the meantime, I'll continue searching. I have some friends in Italy that I will contact; maybe it can be had over there.
