Help me identify these Husky forks

Need some help identifying the forks on this parts Husky. The parts bike is a 1973 WR450. My understanding is the WR had the round leg forks. This happens to have twin ribbed fork legs and they are 33" form axle center to the top of the tube.

Are these 1974 250 mag forks? The hub in the wheel is the same size on both side, like a 125 and the front brake baking plate is smaller and the tab that mounts to the leg is different than the typical 1972-1974 CR's I have

The 125 and 175 models of that vintage had the Leleu hubs front and rear but had round Betor forks. The 76 250 and 360WRs had the same hub with Husqvarna forks. You might have the front end from one of the 76 250/360 WRs or someone may have put the 125/175 front hub. Or it might be of something else

All Huskys in '74, other than the 125/175 which as jim noted were Betors, had the black forks, not just the Mag.

I have other 1973 and 1974 husky's. They all have black legs but a single rib. And the cast area for the brake stay is smooth. This fork has double rib and a ribbed cast area for the brake stay. The over all length is only 1" longer than the standard forks on my 73 and 74 Cr's. For that reason I questioned if they are for a mag.

Any MAG owners or 1975 - 1977 owners out there that could measure the length center of axle to the top of the tube? These are 33" to the top of tube, ( not the cap )

The fork pictured is off a 75 360 Mag. It looks like the one you have. The length however is 31.75" measured as you described. As for the length of your fork, I have seen cases where the spindle was lengthened about one inch to acquire more travel and that would result in an overall longer length. Or you may have a fork off a post 75 model whereas the stock spindle may have been longer than what was in the 75 fork, this is just a speculation on my part.

The forks on my '76 250WR are about 33.5" from center axle to cap and they have 7.5" of travel.

Thanks for the info everyone. Intend to pull the forks and remove the top caps to see what the travel is.
