Does someone have any experience with anti vibration handlebar risers?
I really hate the vibations on the highway, could this work?

I am very curious if someone has any experience, what brand, if it works, etc.

If your risers are stock they are already rubber mounted.

I do not have risers, does it really make a difference? Or what does help against the vibrations?

Okay let me put it another way your handlebar mounts are already mounted with rubber.

This seems like a strange issue to have
I replaced the rubber riser bushings with ones i made from nylon. I still never feel like the vibrations are bad on my SM610

I have found that Grip Puppies help a lot (use them on 3 bikes). They are foam sleeves that go over the standard grips.

I have something very similar to those lying on the shelf in my shed, they were on my bike when i bought it. I took them off because they caused arm pump.
I use Progrip 788's, theyre good but will wear out quick with alot of use.

foam-grips.jpg cause armpump? ... probably have smallish hands and so end up death gripping as they do add OD. Virtually all the Dakar rally guys use similar high density foam grips.

The one on the throttle got worn by the handguard. I gave them a go for a while and hated them, and found there was no need for them after i had taken them off, even with nylon riser mounts. I cant explain the arm pump, its never happened before. I would give these away if postage was cheap enough.

Anyway Lars - try the Grip Puppies (there are other makes which are the same) which are foam covers that go over existing grips or the rally ones that are complete new grips (as above). They do work for many to reduce transmission of vibration.

I have already ridden my bike with grip puppies for a while, but on highway speeds, I still get a numb feeling in my hands, because of the vibrations.
Somebody else here who has done something against the vibrations? Tips?

Thank you! First going for heavier bar end weights. Do you have any experience with the risers?

Check all engine mount bolts are tight and there are no cracks in the frame, mount tabs and brackets.

I've got Cycra non-pro-bend handguards on my SM610 with triple clamp mounts rather than inboard bar mounts. I get no bar vibes.

Does somebody know, how much weight the standard bar ends have? I had an accident a few years ago and had to buy a new steering wheel. So maybe the bar ends are too light.
