Got my new whip setup pretty well. It's a 2012 smr511. I got it stock recnty and immediately started molesting it. It now sports a Yamaha pipe, power commanderV with auto tune and switch, bar risers and steering damper, hand guards, thermobob, digital temp gauge, lithium battery, and a fanny pack. Opted for new Allen screw attachment on the flywheel. Oh also made a custom crank case breather setup that works great.
Nice bike. How does it feel to ride with that steering damper? Are there any situations in which it really makes a difference?
Still getting used to it, and I've never owned one before. This bike is a little nervous at high speed but the main reason I wanted it was to damp hit it will take off road next winter as a snow bike. The bar mount kit is very nice and I like the extra height and the hand guard mounts.
