Yea one of my friends just called and told me. bummer. Ron was my go to guy during my Air cooled Husky 510 days back around 1990. He was one of the classics for sure. Also another Ron memory is that he checked me out of the 1994 Tecate Enduro course ( I was houred out but rode out the course)
Ron was an awesome guy. No filter at all. Just good information. Whatever little bits and pieces (O-rings, hardware, clips...) I ever needed he usually had buried somewhere in a box. I'm really going to miss him.
This is horrible news. Very sad. I never met Ron, but he carried our products for a few years and I always enjoyed talking on the phone with him. Tons of info and stories and he always had the time to talk for a few minutes. He sure seemed like a very good person. Edit: Wow, this was 2 months ago. I feel like I've been living under a rock now.
He passed in Sept.... I saw a bunch of your stuff on the wall.... Thank you guys.... I get 3-4 calls daily of people just finding out....
