3+ black with a Wasabi extended battery. On a proshot chinbar mount. I usually only shoot in 720/60 and I don't use the remote at all so I could have gotten a lower model, but my local shop was blowing them out so I got a great deal on it.
Hero 4 black that cost me 5 bills and work for 3 rides then froze everytime I tried using it. Second one did it two and not because of memory card. POS. I want to get another helmet cam but dunno what to get that'll hold up
Hearing great things about Garmin helmet cam. Even has the overlay and speed. I'm using the new go pro session because I want it mounted under my visor. I don't ever remember to actually bring it with me though...
I heard good things about the session but who knows. I'll have to check the garmin out. My go pro froze trying to the my first race a few years back. Major bummer haha I definitely would like to start getting some footage but we'll see
GoPro 1&4 silver still working fine. The 4s touch screen and app is a bonus. The 4 needs a very fast card, 80mbps to do 4k. Helmet cams are banned for mx racing events here in Oz. Even an empty helmet mount... WT.. BS
I use a Hero Session. The first memory card was a cheap and didn't work well. I got a "good" one and it has been great. I even accidently ran it through the washing machine once and it still works fine.
I'm using a Hero 3+ with the remote and the add -on monitor screen. I often just use the camera alone though.
Ive wheelie bin in jail!! and the '14 has a blown gearbox. 125hrs. Hopefully with rod kit/piston etc, $2_2.5k. ooch... So yes and no
GP4 Silver and same setup as gots_a_sol except l run mine on 1080 Wide 60fps with, at times, Protune which drains the battery a bit, got a remote but either forget to charge it or take it. Proshot attachment is the IMO, the best attachment - looks dorky but the footage is great!!
Wow the Garmin helmet cam looks like "the gear" Must use the GPS for speed/altitude overlays. Stabilizer too. Nice
i just went from a 3 black to a 5 black - i like how the 5 doesnt need a cover to be waterproof. the contrast on the 5 seems alot better.
