http://gncclive.tracksideonlineresults.com/ Shane Watts ! gotta love that guy That old broken bastage still has got it!!!
check the sen b class former basketball player Rik Smits is in the game,,,,,imagine the sight of a 7'4" 250lb on a KTM going through the woods.. He is an avid dirt biker. Also for our team Rookstool is doing so so,,, I thought he would be on a tear,,
laps 3, 4, 5 and 6 could be covered by a 10 second spread........phenomenal.......he's in the zone......and moving up. Like a machine. riders in 6th to 9th place lap times look very inconsistent. Might get a few more before its over Joe
very cool getting all the lap times and seeing how close all those guys run,,,looks like Duvall DNF,, that Cliff Ousley guy was behind my minute at the Az wickenburg enduro and just smoked me at least 3 times between checks,, along with all the other top enduro guys. and I was never late,,, all those guys just rail,,,,,. just spotted his name in the GNCC. Kearny broken/injured....and a top ten run for points,,,,,big balls
yes 3 hour races in GNCC,,,,also check the overall,,, some of those "kids" on 250fs (XC1) are fierce. I did not see any of the heroes ride Huskys guys??? no Melton or Cunningham??? They would be Sen A or 40A no? I though they were in for this event.
thank for the heads up,,,, Fred Hoess wins the class!!!,, i swear that guy has been racing and winning (and used to be a Husky rider) since I was a teen living in NY.... @30 friggan years ago.... also on the list that must be another D Blackwell no??? wow even some SoCal riders like Revelle H in the 35class is a local Socal "fast" rider,,,and I see the Dirt Rider crew Jesse Z riding the event as well. Some day,,,,GNCC it is on the bucket list!!!(sportsman class 2 hours is more than enough). GNCC is just loaded with deep talent in all the classes.
Man was that a freakin' dusty race...still pulling out sand boogers and dust covered ear wax!!! and I didn't even race.Cunningham loved the bike...stock from what I saw except the tank. Said the 450 was a great bike, would like to try the 300 2T for tighter woods racing.Oh yeah he's still a great person to shoot the breeze with...heck, all the fellows in the pit were more then happy to talk.Scott Harden ...Thanx again for all your efforts for Team Husqvarna .! Gotta give Kearney props too...riding that nasty sand whooped, viney, root infested track while injured tough as nails. The 300 was sweet looking and was sporting Ohlins shock and forks! and a one off(for now) 3.9 gallon tank that was not bulbous and high like the IMS...only had to pit for fuel once! :ride: Guscycle
Nice meeting you Gus! What a race....I must have looked like hell since I was choking on dust for 3 hours. That was pretty cool how open everyone was in the pits. I got to meet Scott, chatted with Glenn and tried to talk him out of his Jersey, and Cunningham was very personable too! This was my first GNCC and I was in awe of how close we could get to the racers and hang in the pits. Thanks Husky for the warm welcome.
