ECU harness removal 14 TE 310 R

    I have dislodged what appears to be a protective cover only. Before I cause any damage, anyone know where the harness separates from the ECU? At the Red or Blue arrow?

    Not seeing any clips so gently pry with a screwdriver to get it started?

    The red is the harness, the blue is the ecu... IIRC

    sorry I don't have images of it connected to the harness. (also, it looks like your connector shell is separating from the plug??). here's another view:

    (shell separating: oops- looks like you knew this. my reading comprehension is diminished by Jim Beam, apparently. :D)

    haha, yes Jim and Jack have a way of doing that :D

    From your pics it appears the harness separates from the ECU at the blue arrow.

    Using mirrors, magnifying glasses, etc. I am unable to determine if what I see is a clip on the engine facing side. :confused:

    Got it. :applause:

    On the engine side there is a flat clip on the harness with a nub on the ECU. Lift clip at Red Arrow and pull the harness
