Just picked up my bike and amediatly it ran much better. Hutch MotorSports replaced power valve parts and left the yellow spring in and set to spec. Carb work was basically removed the JD jet kit and went to the 2018 specs which were the stock needle one grove leaner and the s4 needle jet and stock main and pilot that the 17 came with and he taped my 6 small holes in the air box and went back to the original vent hoses. Rode around my yard and huge improvements .Hopefully it works in the woods,I'm very confident it will run just fine . IMG_5794.PNG

sounds good! Very interested to hear what you think about the jetting compared to the JD settings after a ride.

Do you have details on what PV parts were replaced? Just replaced with new OEM parts?

Rode the bike today in 90 degrees and I'm wiped . Bike ran great with the stock 2018 jetting and no other mods . Gas leaked out overflow at 1st and I looped the hose only to have the bike run not as good and then I rerouted the line back to its stock route and the bike ran very good. The carb is angled 7 degrees. Heat beat me bad and the trails were tough.

All 3 of the 150's from this shop had bad PV'sand after repair all 3 bikes ran great. I'm trying a different jetting tomorrow. 460 main from a 470 and the leaner needle on the second groove and stock pilot. This was used on a 150 they had more test time and it worked great

Your avatra thing says WR125. Did you get a new bike? I'm guessing it's a TE150? ;-) What year, and what was wrong with the power valve?

I've been really happy with how my bike has been running until Sunday when it was high 80's and incredibly muggy - bike ran like a blubbery pile of crap under quarter throttle. Grrr!

Sorry just to clarify you're running the Mikuni needle as called out in the jetting chart in the 2017 manual? Don't have it handy to spit out the letters and numbers.

Considering buying an S4 needle jet and giving your settings a try.
