Crankcase Leak? 2012 Te25

    Loving my TE250, but there seems to be a slow leak around the crankcase cover. I replaced the gasket and no love. It appears to be around the wire cluster. Dabbed some silicone around it and still the leak persists.
    Anyone seen this before? Suggestions? crankcase cover.jpg

    the famous grommet leak. many threads- do a search

    basically, clean it up (carb cleaner etc) and goop it up good with RTV silicone. for an even better job, take the side cover off and goop it up from the inside.
