Hi there guys. A few question regarding my 250 (cr?Wr?) 1978. I have a broken coil and need to replace it. Just not shure what to get. The former owner put new flywheel, points and everything. the flywheel is now a FEMSA Var1-48. The frame number is ML 24660. Anybody know what kind of coil I need to get?
    Thanks :)

Are you needing the magneto coil (behind the flywheel) or the ignition coil (under the fuel tank)?

I am using an Emgo 24-71532 universal ignition coil with my Femsa magneto. Has worked very well for several seasons. The coil does not come with a spark plug connector, so you'll need to get one also. The bolt holes on the coil do not match the holes on the frame so you have to drill one new hole (closer together than the stock coil).

Yes, the Emgo or an other universal coil will work perfectly with a points system.

Automotive condensers can be cross referenced from 70's GM vehicles or purchased from Hugh's Bultaco if you really need FEMSA points and condenser

    Yes!
When you fit your new condenser, fit by the coil under the tank, the environment is much better for it there!

HI guys. Just recived my coil and will hook it up any day now. One question (yes I migh just be an idiot an thankfully I do not fix old huskys for a living...my family would be starving). The question, the broken qoil at took of my husky had two outputs, the new one is single output. From my stator I have a yellow and a black wire. I am guessing yellow on the output on coil and black on ground? Does anyone have a drawing of hooking up the killswitch? The old setup is a bit conufsing for a simple guy like me...
