Anyone know of alternatives for the chain guide or front sprocket cover for the TE630? I've seen the BRP item for the 610, am I right in assuming this will fit? http://brpmoto.com/products?page=sh...page.pbv.tpl&product_id=2068&category_id=1991 Also, for the front sprocket, I'd like a far simpler and more open cover. As it is, with the stock item, it gets REALLY clogged up with mud and crud at races and rallies. It would be nicer to have a more open item that would help in clearing it out. Does anyone know if any of the other TE compatible parts might fit?
7602 makes a case saver for the 610. It might fit the 630 two. The BRP chain guide is the best! You can't break it!
If I remember correctly the case saver for the 610 does not fit the 630 as the 630 has a hydraulic clutch, and the slave cylinder will be in the way. I've seen the chain guide on other people's 630's fitting though
Yep, I've got the BRP chain guide, but any kind of case saver/sprocket cover is going to be custom... You could leave the stock steel case saver without the cover and use shorter bolts.
I think I might just do that. I've got some ally plate, so I could make up something simple, just to stop the boot rubbing on the sprocket.
Had a quick look, This guy did the same; made a plate to stop his boot rubbing Picture: http://www.cafehusky.com/attachments/p1000244-jpg.15945/ Thread: http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/a-well-dressed-tm-630.24740/#post-222416
Hi, does anyone know online shop in Europe where I could order BRP or T.M.design works chain guide? Seem like very hard to find here. I have tried out couple of online shops at States, but they either have very high shipping costs or they don't deliver at all. thanks.
I recently misplaced my stock case saver...does anyone know what the part number is for it on the 630? I can't find it in the official parts book, nor can my local dealer find it, but I know it exists!!!
Yep- because that's the only way it'll go (it has "posts" on the back side, that the bolts go through, that stand it off in the proper plane to the chain. The one in the pic is unmounted and just sort of dangling there.
