cam cap numbers

    I wonder if anyone knows the correct order for the cam caps.
    They have numbers on them but I cant find the paper note I made showing which goes where.
    I seem to recall 1 and 2 were the exhaust side with 1 next to the gear
    and 4 and 3 were on the intake side with 4 being closest to the gear.
    Any one know for sure?

    You are in luck as I happen to have my 08 TE250 valve cover off tonight as I stripped my camshaft cap #2. The order mine are in are:
    Front left: 1
    Front right: 2
    Back left: 3
    Back right: 4

    Hope that helps.
