Been having a little trouble out of my 14 te310 lately.

Its been having a cooling problem on slow tec areas for the past while making it hard to start when it got hot and hard to keep running.

Had the gas tank over pressuring caused by a 1 way vent tube.

So today i was riding and the engine got warm went to start had a kickback which broke the starter mount.

Anyone know of some fixes for these problems gonna order a new mount, check valves, new plug and gap, thought about aftermarket exhaust to move more heat away.

Txc is the MX version correct? Fmf as two different pipes for the te and txc in the Q4 and power core. Should i get the one for the te or txe?

sounds like your valves need to be adjusted ('specially the one exhaust with the auto-decompress). you were using the electric start, right? btw, would you post a pic of the damage please?

toss the tank vent 1-way valve: gas tanks need to breathe in and OUT. no check valves. get rid of the vapor recovery system if you haven't already; and if you have you should've tossed the stock (2-way?) valve. if you're talking about an aftermarket 1-way valve: it's a no-brainer, toss it as far as you can.

heating: is your fan coming on? is your radiator topped-up? (there's not much coolant when full... <32oz)

ECU reprogrammed: yes, that would be a huge help because the stock map is so lean. you'd also gain an unbelievable amount of power. However... the TE310 ecu needs to be on the bike (well, on "a" bike, not necessarily yours) to be programmed. so if you have ZTR do it, make sure they have a bike or have 'em tell when they have one in- and overnight your ecu.

I've seen '13 TC & TXC ecu's occasionally on ebay. and the prices are low sometimes (low enough that I think about getting one to put on the shelf). I believe they would work beautifully. (confirm this)

Soon as i seen it wasn't breathing i tossed the valved tank hose got the old one out of my tail bag.

I believe there was trash in the fan gonna check it if not may do a manual switch.

Not really sure if the crack is under the silicone.

If you covered it with silicone you will need new cases.

Better to remove the E-start and put the TC plate over the hole and kick it.

If it was kicking back that hard you might have sheared the woodruff key holding the flywheel in place taking the ignition out of time.

good. but if you have trash in your fan, then you have junk in your radiator fins too... so clean both of your radiators while you're at it.

It broke at the 90° part can't remember the name of it where the starter turns to the worm gear shaft. Gonna crack it open after i get back from vacation.

Oh, that is good. you should be able to buy one of those for 1 few bucks.

    Check your flywheel woodruff key.

This is what i have found so far, checking valves later and pulling flywheel.

Side note seen no cat in mid-pipe and it has a open air filter frame all must have been done by previous owner not sure if anything has been done to the ECM.

Fan dose work with direct power do believe thermostat is bad gonna check it later too.

Sparkplug was a nice light tan tho. Where are the timing marks at on the flywheel and anything else i need to look for as far as uncorking it.

    Hi Jessie,

Yes, there is a block of plate you can buy from Husqvarna. I believe it was from the 250cc kick start only version of this bike. I bought one for mine and it worked perfectly. I got the info off of this site, but can't remember all the details now. I can look into this when I get home.

I don't think you have to remove the 1 way gear, but mine had failed so I removed it anyway.

Got it back together deleted the Estart then found a crack on kick start side from the starter getting pushed, patched it gonna see how it holds.
