Ha ha, too cool. like it too. BTW, Bill and I were talking on the phone while he was posting this and he says, "you gota see my new bike!"
Now THAT is a standard. So many people these days seem to have forgotten what a standard is, pointing instead to a sport bike that's a little more relaxed than a race replica.
I love standards. I have one, although it doesn't run properly right now. I'm surprised that I couldn't find any pictures that I or a friend have taken, but here's one from a commercial website. (And that is me on my bike on Palomar Mountain.) Okay, I found one.
Things started dragging on that bike before you could wipe the chicken strips off. It had lowered footpegs and those would grind before you got to far. Was a really fun wheelie machine. I'll see more things and live longer on the TR650.
They were really cool motors, had avery unique sound....great til it was time for valve adjustments or carb sync....have two friends with them...both have turbo on one each one has one very custom w/ ssswing arm and CBR style tank and fairing very kewl street bike....Motorsportz, you should have kept the Kawi and added to the fleet.....lol,I kept my VFR and the rest of my mini fleet..... I was up to 13 bikes in my hoard. Had enough, sold a pile and got it down to three good husky that do everything and a few extras.
