They mention Luca in the vid. About 8 years ago I did the Idaho City ISDE for the first time and he was there on a TM 125. He spanked everyone and was sitting in his shorts eating a sandwich when second place rolled in. He was crazy fast in the special test we saw, just amazing.

    Congrats Joe !

I had my 08 TC250 off road for the first time three weeks ago(as opposed to track) and for the first 20 min I thought..hmm...feels heavy...turns slow...too much work compared to my CR125....I didnt like it....But...after half a days ride I ended up smiling... totaly tractable and can hold the throttle open for longer...and more forgiving climbing hills....at the end of the day...I think I am as fast on my TC....for less effort....for sure

Dont get me wrong...I love 125s..in fact I have ordered a new 09 WR125....I just like the simplicity and no fuss nature of two strokes....but mostly the exitement of the powerband....yes they can be tiring..yet flickable and light at the same time...you get out of them what you put in.....its all up to effort

Trust me... after your 125..you'll love your TE

but hang on to your tiddler..........if you can

I think it would be great to have a little 125 Bush Basher.
So are you gonna sell your 125 or did you already?

Stay away from the booze Joe, it won't help. I hear cupcakes can cure all, take 2 dozen and call us in the morning.

Might the very short ride you took on my 08 have had something to do with your deposit? I gotta say, until I was at the gathering, I really babied it and once I got back, and I had a little over 600 miles on it I really started opening it up. Wish I had been there then so you could've taken a few laps with it(with my new motoz tires;-). I think you'd really like it now.

If you ask this old man who races Desert and use to ride a thumper he would say
125 But that is me and i am out in the Desert .The TE does have a plate and you might ride it more if you live close to a riding area but if you only want to race then off comes the blinkers

Trade the 07 in on the 09 WR 125 and get the TE, that's the only solution.....:D

Kelly...are you talking about the 2009? I wouldn't get the 2008 model because it doesn't have the updated frame.

My 07 WR 125 is plated and legal so thats not the issue. need to be legal forr enduros. No issue on riding areas as anyone who came to the NE Husky run can attest to.......miles of trails and oodles of yet untouched land at the homestead (both mine and some ultra cool neighborhood farmers.
Gonna keep the WR125 around as she was so good to me and will make a spare and a "loaner" for visitors.
