Aftermarket Fan For A 2007 Te 450 E3 Model

    due to a recent tip over my radiator fan stopped working. does anybody know if a trailtech or any other fan will work and plug in with the stock wiring/connector? the bike gets up to 108 celcius on singletrack according to my trail tech computer.

    Sure that isn't a 2008 model? I did not know that any of the 2007 models had a cooling fan in the system. The fan is still available for the 2008 model.

    im sure. its not fuel injected. its the e3 version so it has a few differences.

    maybe the 2008 fan will bolt up? its tough to get some parts for the e3 model.

    BTW stay away from the fan kits using the Panasonic fan, it does not move much air.

    the trail tech fan was the same as the oem except for the connector so I just spliced the wires and used the original connectors and it works fine. I didn't even use the whole kit, just the fan. thanks guys.

    fan comes on at 88 or 89c. I was seeing 105c on tight singletrack when it was broken.

    The fan should turn on before the engine gets that hot . Put a lower temp switch in the cold hoses
