Accessory 12VDC power?

    Just got an 09 TE450 and would like to set up a 12 volt DC supply for things like a bar mounted GPS. Are there any convenient circuits behind that head light that could adapt to this use? Thanks in advance!

    I think it's best to connect GPS directly to the battery, using a small terminal block. This way the it (or HID lights) will see continuous power, engine running or not.

    I have two 20W halogen MR11 bicycle lights mounted on the handlebars, these I wired into the high beam circuit. The stator easily drives a 45W headlight, and 40W additional halogen at idle with zero dimming.
