As the title states: Does the 360 have a gasket between the intake side of the cylinder and the front of the reed valve? I've removed the reed cage in preparation of replacing the reeds and while it removed cleanly and left no evidence of a gasket, it appears that the front (side closest to the cylinder) surface of reed valve has a gasket or gasket material on it. However, when I look at the parts schematic I cannot find evidence of one.

Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards the answer being "no" but if by chance (rather large chance) I'm incorrect I'd like to replace it while I have it apart. Thanks.

I can't remember there being a gasket on my '92 360 when I last took it apart but I can check the diagram to be sure when I get home from work..

Thanks. I assume if there is in fact no separate gasket, whatever material is on the front of the reed valve serves as a sealing surface. Simply want to confirm that I'm not overlooking anything.

I referred to the fiche. I saw no evidence of a gasket, which strikes me as odd. I was just hoping to get advice/opinion from someone with first hand knowledge.

I checked my service manual and there's no gasket shown there.
