My OEM petcock drools gas slowly when off. I'm wanting to fix it.... not buy a new.
Any comments on that? I see a wire clip holding it together so it can come apaert easy.
But is the sealing members inside made of rubber or a fiberous disk-like part?

Are new internal wear pieces available?
    Thanks guys, Dave

There was a thread on here a while ago with some useful information. BigBill I think had some useful tips on sourcing a cheaper alternative for a rebuild kit.

I used cork from ace hardware comes in a roll. It was tight but it don't leak and that's been at least 2 years ago.
