Not what many would call a "resto" but I'm satisfied. Been working on this baby for many months. Thought I would post some pics I took along the way. I was able to get it dressed in some CR trim this weekend, hopefully in the next few weeks I will get the WR trim back on and all wired up and a few other little items that need attention. Oooops make that the second 125..... we typically have a sea of 390's, 430's and 500's so it is nice to see another 125 resto in here!!! Sorry Joe!

Is a head gasket used on these air cooled motors, or does the cylinder head sit right on the lip of the cast iron liner? I don't see a head gasket listed on the parts diagram. I bought a motor in pieces, so I didn't get to take it apart initially and look for myself.

Thanks for the compliments, and thank you Cafe Husky and all who participate.

No head gasket is shown for 83 125's
