Perhaps someone has an answer, but I have searched high and low for the hardened steel pins for these swingarms and they do not exist. Same diameter as the '79+ bikes that are commonly available in kits, but they are shorter.

I'm thinking of taking the longer ones to a machine shop and having them chop them down, as I doubt that I could get a clean 90 degree edge with a handheld cutoff tool. Anyone see any problems with this approach?

Cut the sleave down for my 81 , no problems so far . Found some Honda linkage bearings that fit but sleave was a little long .

Thanks, going to invest $6 in an abrasive blade for my mitre saw and see if I can get a clean cut.

    How much ya cutting off?
I've had success with cutting tubes using adjustable gas pipe cutter.
That's with a good blade in and enough to hold onto.

Call John at Vintage Husky in San Marcos, Ca (760) 744-8052. If they are available, he would know, or tell you where you can find them.

Per John they are only available used. No worries though, using a $6.95 abrasive blade on my mitre saw, I chopped it fairly easily, problem solved.
