    Hey guys
Been a while since Ive posted. I sold my WR300 a couple of years back and bought a 2015 KX450F which I love but am looking to add a dual sport to the mix. I am really keen on the Husky 701 Enduro. Anyone have one of these and if so what are they like, more particularly what are they like on the road, whcih is where 80% of its use with me would be.

Love to hear from an owner.

    Thanks

well, for one... they're being built in Austria, not Italy anymore. You'll probably get a better response over there ("Austrian forum").

enjoy the new bike when you get it.

They are not an 80% road proposition, more like 30%. the 700 and its KTM brother are really off road beasts with some road pretense. Great bikes within their design parameters however. Look for a good condition TE 610 or 630 or even a DR650 imho.

Agreed on the DR650 if you want a Dualsport with better road manners than dirt. The DR will go just fine off road properly setup but it'll eat some serious road miles without batting an eye. I owned a DR650 and am very well versed in the proper setup. You may want to hang out on DRRIDERS.com and do some research. With some careful spending on modifications, the mighty DR650 can be quite effective for what you seek. My 2 cents worth.

If you need specifics on DR mods, hit me up and I'd be happy to help you out.

With all that being said, I have been lusting for a 701 Enduro lately but I'd want it for more 50/50 riding.

Anyone know the bearing sizes (numbers) for the wheels & sprocket carrier for the 701?

KTM would be the same, that could provide the info you need.
