Hi all, just wondering which footpegs people are installing/replacing the stock pegs with? Another question, are the replacement parts the same as the 610? In other words, when looking for new 630 pegs should I be looking for 610 ones because they fit the 630?!

I looked at the Pro Moto Billet Evo pegs but still looking at what else is out there.

    Cheers everyone.

Pivot pegs. Same as 610 and made my own lowering brackets (36" inseam), had to grind one small piece can't remember what to make them fit. Also pivot allows size 14 to get under the shifter a little easier. Extended the shifter and lowered brake lever and brake tip also.

Fastway pegs, got them because they have a low or standard position, once again there was a minor mod needed to allow one of the pegs to rotate correctly when hit. They're better than the standard pegs but I'd probably try the pivot pegs if I were to change again.

Pivot Pegz, pay the money and close the book, nothing better. And this comes from a notorious cheapskate that cringed on spending $150 on pegs, but absolutely no buyer's remorse. Warning, once you buy them you'll have to have them on every bike you own thereafter. They also have high/low position option.

Oooh! High/low position on the pivot pegs, tell me more? How?

If memory serves me correctly the pegs come with a left and right orientation. Reverse the orientation for lowering the pegs.

Okay, I'll have to go look. Just the brackets or the pegs them selves?

Just the pegs. Others have swapped the stock brackets left to right to get additional drop but then you'll need to modify and lower your controls accordingly. With our limited ground clearance I would be leery of doing that anyway.

I put DRC pegs on mine. A low cost alternative but nice pegs. Cam.

I put OEM 510 pegs on mine. They bolt right up. But, for as much as they cost, you could probably get a set of Pivot Pegz.

I just dropped the Fastways on my new to me 610. Anyone know how much of this tab I can safely take off to allow the peg to articulate?

I wouldn't lower the pegs, the ground clearance is pretty minimal offroad as it is. My pivot pegz are in the stock position and my feet were coping a few taps on the weekend as it was. I'm about 6'3" and have no real issues with the 'higher' stock position of the pegs, though I might consider some mild bar risers in future, but for now I want to see if I can adapt to it as it is.

Not sure how different the 630 is to the 610 but I've ground the tab until both bracket ends look the same, no problems with it.

I too just ground part of the tab off until the peg could move. Not sure what that extra metal is all about since the other side doesn't have it. Doesn't look like if does anything.

If someone wants Fastways, I have a set or two I will sell at a bargain price to buy more Pivots for my bikes, Pivots feel odd to some riders.
    Different strokes. . ... :)
